Your Mark

You left your mark
Among others
Yet you can’t see theirs
Your eyes can not see yours
Your mark is that deep
You can’t see a scar
Nothing lies on my body
Except the skin
Thickened by hate
Glossed by abuse
While it hides
Your marks
So only I can see
A constant reminder
Of what you hate
Has done to me

Your mark is not indelible, you are your own mark, do not let others’ actions define you. Powerful piece of poetry. Hope to see more from you. Have hope, write on! 😊😊😊
