Wild Heart

Grown body, showing the age

Mind slowly dying, in disgrace

Blood flowing quickly, keeping up the pace

Wild heart flying away

The playful eyes watching the space

The child inside, hiding away

Those playful toys taken away

Those happy days gone away

The freedom that was once, cease to live

Yet this wild heart, still exists

The playful thoughts still escape

The sadness growing for what was missed

The heart unable to keep up the pace

Growing to quickly, not at a steady pace

The heart stays wild, fighting to stay.
