Icy casing

Icy skin cold to touch, my body frozen, an ice sculpture
The crimson red blood froze within me
Words being slung at me, each one skipping off
The scraping of the knife down my skin, trying to pierce through the ice
Icy frozen casing protecting me, the trauma keeps trying to break me
Battle after battle the ice keeps me protected from this life
Broken mind screams from in me, the nails digging into the bloody flesh
Pain screeching through me, eyes lost in the wild, heartbroken with the sorrow
The ice that once protected me, melting as you slowly tear at me
Legs buckle and breaking as I collapse to my knees
Hushed whispers within me, as the darkness creeps in
The haters standing watching, seeing me free from the casing
Ready to begin their torture on me, slithering forward with bared teeth
The growls of hate escaping their lips
Glistening eyes as they look at their prize
My body is their prize.
