Withered Flower

Withering up fading fast

The bud of the flower

Falls with a gasp

The crimson red that once was

Now a murky brown

The sweet scent that was

Now disappeared without a sound

The gently touch it once was

Now rough and rugged

The rose that once brought with it smiles

Now brings frowns and tears.

The warmth you brought

Now has ceased never to return
