Tears of blood

Wind howling, hair blowing, coldness spiking

Rain pounding, bouncing off the floor

Bodies dripping wet as they walk

The path long, treacherous and hard

Bare foot, alone walking through the icy winds

Eyes focusing on the image that I must reach

Frozen blast of wind knocking me down

My body scrambling back to it’s feet

Walking again, no shoes on, feet bleeding

Thunder roars making itself known

Lightening strikes hitting me jolting me to the ground

My body scrambling back to it’s feet

Eye focusing again, the image my comfort holding me

Straining to see, through the blistering cold winds

Tears of blood falling down, head lowering to the ground

Trying to protect my face from hale that hits so hard

Reaching the image I feel myself relax

The storm behind me, all I feel is sun and warmth at last.
